During 2012 on a National level, chapters representing Psi Iota Xi (PIX) sisters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky contributed $971,012.79 to various philanthropic projects in their local areas.

National Projects supported this year include: Gallaudet University Dance Scholarship, The Metropolitan Opera Central Region Audition Award, Hoosier Art Salon, Van Riper Lecture Series, American Speech-Language-Foundation, Deaf Youth Sports Festival, University of Toledo’s Services for People Who Stutter Program, Professional Preparation in Cochlear Implants (PPCI) Program, Bethel College Sign Language Interpreting Program and a Rotating Literature Literacy Project. A total of $24,024.29 was funded to these various National Projects.

The host chapter, Iota Tau was installed at the National Convention in 2006. In just a short six years this chapter has been building their future making handmade gift cards, calendars, picture frames and of course cheese balls. Iota Tau supports the Hoosier Art Salon, the Indianapolis Symphony and the St. Joseph Institute. “You’re an Essential Piece of the Puzzle” 2012 Convention concluded with the puzzle pieces being neatly put together!
